Good morning, soul-sisters!
The daily office gospel for today (Mark 6:30-46) is so rich with meaning for me and our time together this past weekend! We gathered around Jesus to share our stories, dreams and journeys. He led us to a quiet place by ourselves where, for me, my well was filled to the brim.
Now home, the demands of others--family, friends, work, parishioners--is ever present. Yet out of the fullness of our own wells we are able to feed the crowd because we have been filled. And they, too, are filled. I am so grateful for our time together, for each of you, for Haden, and for the Divine who is ever present in our lives--summoned or not.
